This house was built in 1922 and totally renovated to bare walls in 2008 and updated in 2015. In the renovations, we kept the character of the architecture and details in the woodwork but opened the floorplan of the house and created larger bedrooms and closets to meet the needs of today. We dug out the basement by hand so that we could capture enough headroom to create a fantastic finished space containing a second master bedroom, bathroom with shower, laundry room, workout area, three closets, and a private entrance.
The first floor: as you enter from the front door, the flooring contains 100-year-old refinished hardwood floors throughout and opens to an entryway with a coat closet and a secondary door that opens to the 14 x 16 living room, 8 x 8 entryway, and half bath powder room.
